
What do glass slippers, Citizen Kane and a flounder have in common? All were featured attractions at SEEDS' 2009 Summer Lyceum.
Classes like Once Upon a Time, Film as Art and Meet Me at the Jubilee gave students an opportunity to explore personal interests and to keep learning going throughout the summer months.
Parents especially liked the afternoon class schedule for children and the first-time, evening offerings for families. Many have already begun making suggestions for 2010 Lyceum courses.
SEEDS' Summer Lyceum is designed to bring together community members and resources to promote a lifelong love of learning.
Summer 2010 Lyceum classes will be announced in mid-March. Brochures will be distributed through the Daphne schools, the Daphne Public Library and many local businesses.
