First Annual Corporate Campaign Under Way

Daphne business leaders and citizens can take pride in the achievements of their local education foundation over the past four years:

  • $83,000 in Classroom Enrichment Grants to the five Daphne public schools and Christ the King Catholic School;
  • Launch of the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme at Daphne High;
  • Two successful community-building events: The Mamma Mia Cook-off and Classic Rock 5K & Fun Run;
  • New summer enrichment opportunities open to all Baldwin County students through the SEEDS Lyceum;
  • Community projects like Principal for a Day and the Academic Excellence Coalition that give Daphne citizens new ways to be involved.

As SEEDS grows, so do the foundation’s day-to-day operating expenses. SEEDS depends upon continuing support from Daphne businesses and families to sustain our expanding program of work. You can do your part to keep these important initiatives going by making a contribution during our first annual Corporate Friends of SEEDS Campaign.

Clearly, the role of our foundation must expand in the coming months to address our schools’ growing needs. So join us in demonstrating Daphne’s commitment to continued educational excellence by becoming a Corporate Friend of SEEDS for the 2009-10 school year.

Download a list of Donor Opportunities and Commitment Form and return these with your check or pledge to qualify for sponsorship and other benefits in the months ahead.
