Daphne Students Race to Sign Up for the SEEDS Classic Rock 5K and Fun Run 2007

SEEDS, Daphne's educational enrichment foundation, will host an organizational meeting for the Team Up for Daphne Character Coalition on Friday morning, November 17, at 8 a.m. in the Community Room of the Daphne Recreation Department. The coalition is a new project being coordinated by SEEDS to generate community support for character education initiatives currently under way in the Daphne schools.
A Team Up for Daphne Character Rally was held on October 10 to announce the creation of the group that will consider ways to reinforce out in the community positive messages students are receiving at school about the importance of good character. Representatives from local youth organizations, service agencies, parent-teacher groups, municipal departments, and members of the business, civic and faith communities are invited to participate.
