Classic Rock 5K & Fun Run
Moves to Daphne City Hall on March 6
Olde Towne Daphne is set to rock and roll on Saturday morning, March 6, when runners from throughout the area join Daphne students, teachers and parents at Daphne City Hall for the 6th annual Classic Rock 5K & Fun Run.
The 3.1 mile main event featuring a new, mostly-flat course gets under way at 8 am with the certified 1 mile Fun Run beginning at 9 am.
Top runners will once again receive Museum Shop gift items from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when awards are presented at 9:30 am. A live band, good food and great children’s activities will round out the morning.

Students, parents and teachers who register for the race at school through February 12 will enter in the homeroom competition for the Classic Rock Party (held later in the spring)
School Program:

- Family members registering with a Daphne student may enter the 5K for only $15
- School program 5K registrants may also participate in the Fun Run with their children for free
One dollar of each race registration collected through the 2010 Classic Rock School Program will be donated to the participating student's school. All other proceeds go to SEEDS’ Classroom Grant Program that has provided more than $121,000 for instructional improvements in the Daphne schools since 2005.
