2008 Classic Rock 5K & Fun Run
Over 1300 Hit the Streets for SEEDS
SEEDS’ fourth Annual Spring Road Race fundraiser held on Saturday, March 1 was a record-breaking success!
Thanks to the support of Daphne students, parents, teachers, business leaders and running enthusiasts from throughout the area.
The 2008 Classic Rock 5K & Fun Run attracted over 1300 participants and raised nearly $15,000 for SEEDS’ Classroom Enrichment Grant Program.

5K top male winner:
- BRAD DAVIS, Fairhope
Davis beat out a field of 264 runners to win the 3.1 mile event in 17:56
5K top female winner:
- LAUREN LEMON, Mobile
Lemon took first place in the women's division with a time of 20:56
Overall Masters division winners were:
