2008 Mamma Mia Cook-off Sets Records
On Saturday, Nov. 8, SEEDS hosted the fourth annual Mamma Mia Cook-off on the grounds of Daphne City Hall. The new backdrop for the event and the weather were beautiful as more than 700 guests gathered to celebrate Daphne’s Italian heritage. With the help of many local businesses and a dedicated team of SEEDS volunteers, Mamma Mia 2008 raised some $20,000 that will directly benefit students in the five Daphne public schools and at Christ the King Catholic Schools during the coming year.
